  • Ponsel Motorola Defy Android yang Tahan Banting

    Ponsel Motorola Android coba tampil beda dari smartphone Android kebanyakan. Motorola Defy ini didesain tahan banting, dengan layar anti gores dan mampu bertahan meski terkontaminasi air maupun debu.

    Menurut klaim Motorola, Defy didesain untuk menghadapi berbagai situasi tak terduga. Ponsel ini cukup kuat walaupun terjatuh atau terkena hujan.

    Di samping tahan banting, ponsel layar sentuh tersebut punya jeroan cukup bagus meski tidak istimewa. Ada kamera 5 megapixel dengan flash dan auto focus, layar WXGA 3,7 Inch serta teknologi crystal talk yang diklaim mampu membuat suara saat menelepon lebih jernih.

    Dibenamkan pula kapabilitas DNLA (Digital Living Network Alliance). Kapabilitas ini memungkinkan ponsel berbagi konten dengan perangkat lain yang kompatibel, misalnya konsol game, PC, atau HDTV.

    Seperti dilansir InformationWeek, promosi Defy juga tidak main-main. Ponsel yang akan dibundling operator T-Mobile di Amerika Serikat itu bakal dirilis dalam acara bincang-bincang televisi terkenal, The Oprah Winfrey Show.

    Sebagai ponsel Android, Motorola Defy menyajikan layanan lengkap Google, dari Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Google Search dan aplikasi lainnya. Sayang belum disebut versi Android yang dijalankannya, namun diduga kuat Defy memakai Android 2.1 atau Eclair.

    Motorola Defy mengandalkan user interface andalan Motorola selama ini, yaitu Motoblur. Belum diketahui apakah ponsel yang juga dilengkapi fitur keyboard Swype ini bakal mendarat di luar Amerika Serikat
